Surgical robotics company Prosurgics, which supplies devices for laparoscopic surgery, has appointed Andrew Hatton as UK Country Manager.
Andrew Hatton will be responsible for driving adoption in the UK of the Bracknell-based company's FreeHand robotic camera controller.
Andrew has 24 years' experience of sales and commercial management in the endoscopy and laparoscopy markets. He has worked for Stryker Corporation since 1995, most recently as European Sales and Marketing Director.
"We are extremely fortunate to have someone of Andrew's experience joining our team. As our home market, it is extremely important for us to have a strong presence and leadership in the UK," said Douglas Le Fort, CEO of Prosurgics.
"We are confident that Andrew and his sales team will continue to meet the growing demand for FreeHand and promoting its numerous cost and time saving benefits to the UK laparoscopic market."
Prosurgics recently signed an agreement with DI DEDDA SpA for the exclusive distribution of FreeHand in Italy.
