New nerve centre for Bespoke Healthcare

Bespoke Healthcare, an independent provider of nerve conduction studies in the UK, has moved into new offices.

The new premises at Millennium City Park, Preston, cover 1000 square feet and represent an initial £25,000 investment - including a new IT system to enhance the company's online booking service.

The company, which recently went through a management restructure and plans to double its turnover and staff by 2011, increased turnover to £1 million in 2009 and currently employs nine full-time people and 10 leading neurophysiology specialists on a consultancy basis.

Gwam Rajiah, founder and Managing Director of Bespoke Healthcare, said: "Since our inception in 2006 we have won numerous high-profile contracts around the UK, most recently a two-year deal with an option for a further year with Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh Foundation Trust.

"There has been a definite swing to the utilisation of private companies in the neurophysiology sector to bring waiting times, patient service and overall pricing inside the parameters set by the Department of Health.

"Based on last year's performance, market conditions and positive ongoing negotiations with three other major healthcare establishments, we have a solid platform to push the business forward to its next growth phase based on realistic targets."

Bespoke Healthcare provided neurophysiology studies to over 4,000 patients last year. Hospitals that have used its services include Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh Foundation Trust and Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust.
