MedtechBusiness the gateaway to a commercial career in healthcare

New specialist market intelligence from myM-link

Dedicated market intelligence services for the digital health and human engineering markets have been launched by myM-link, a Midlands-based membership service for life science companies.

The new services, launched at MEDTEC in Birmingham, are a response to the increase in demand for specialist market intelligence provoked by growth in these sectors of medical technology.

Using its relationships with health providers, myM-link has identified gaps in the provision of digital health products and services - from electronic patient records and patient tracking to non-invasive monitoring, imaging, diagnostics and robotic surgery.

In addition, myM-link has identified business opportunities in human engineering - from implant technology and stem cell methods to regenerative medicine, orthotics and prosthetics.

In both areas, manufacturers and suppliers will be able to access three distinct service options:

• The basic 'In the Loop' service includes two tickets to any of myM-link's specialist events and notification of industry news, opinions and events.

• The Information Service delivers market intelligence specific to the medtech sector - articles on new product launches, legislation and regulatory issues, funding calls and market statistics.

• For personal introductions to customer organisations and notification of tender opportunities, myM-link offers a Business Opportunity service.

Sue Wilde, myM-link's Manager, commented: "There are so many opportunities within digital health, we're confident companies will benefit from getting involved," and that "Our research shows that human engineering has huge potential." In both sectors, she concluded, "Our connections will help anyone get involved in new product development, find new partners and spot commercial opportunities."

A membership service for life science companies, myM-link creates commercial opportunities for its members through networking and market intelligence. The service achieved a retention rate of 95% in its second year.
